6.000 euros for artists who publish music under CC

As jamendo.com blog is stating, they are sharing their revenue of April to July with their artists. This revenues come from advertising.

The money is split up proportionally in respect to the page views of the artists content on jamendo.com

So… If the artists have a big fan community, they are likely to get more money from jamendo.

My hope is that such ideas are spreading and next time jamendo is able to publish even more than their 6.000 euros.
